Shirley Marie Duncan

Shirley Marie Duncan, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017.  She was born February 17th, 1942 in Webster County, Iowa to Delores C. (Leiss) Dillingham, and Robert W. Dillingham who both preceded her in death. She was married to Hubert Stephen “Steve” Duncan on April 14th, 1962.  He preceded her in death April 10th, 2012.  They were married for 50 years. Prior to moving to California, Shirley attended Fort Dodge Iowa Schools.  She spent 30+ years as a certified nursing assistant before retiring.  She enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by; her daughters, Tracy Ann Shelton, Terri Lynn Duncan, Mari Jo Duncan; grandsons, Eric Thomas Miramontes, Gregory Stephen Duncan, Michael Gary Romero, Deric Thomas Shelton, Jabralter Jones; great-grandchildren, Blake Lynn Duncan, Adam Romero, Quinn Suzanne Duncan; siblings and spouses, Sandra Swenson, Richard & Patty Dillingham, Roger & Leonor Dillingham, Sara Padfield, Susan Summers, Sharon & Dennis Miller, Randy & Patty Dillingham; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by; her siblings, Robert Dillingham & Sally Messerly; brother-in-laws, Ted Swenson & Jerry Summers. Shirley will be laid to rest next to her husband at the San Joaquin Valley Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a future date.
