Anna "Shug" Underwood

Anna “Shug” Underwood 08/21/1931 ~ 10/15/2017 Shug died peacefully with her family around her to be with her loved ones and God on October 15, 2017. Shug graduated from Orosi High School and lived in the Visalia, Orosi, Dinuba, and Oakhurst areas. She worked at the State Theater, Rexall Drug Store in Dinuba. After marrying her first husband Daniel Masich (who was a farmer), they owned the Foster Freeze in Dinuba and Reedley. Daniel passed away at the age of 38 years old. Shug later married Tommie Underwood, who was a State Farm Agent. They loved traveling together until his passing in 2011. Shug is survived by two daughters Patricia (Russell) Stanger, and Donna Masich; step children Diana (Richard) Sosa; Robin (Diane) Underwood, Michael and (Kolleen) Underwood and a sister Virginia Akers,  many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and so many others that loved her dearly.  Graveside services will be held at Reedley Cemetery on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 9:00am.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Oakhurst, California. The family would like to thank Kaweah Delta Home Health and Hospice of Visalia for their excellent care as well as Dr. Shaftner of Oakhurst and Dr. Newton and Princeton of Premier walk in of Visalia.
