Angela Hernandez

d. June 27, 2021

Forever In Our Hearts Angela “Cookie” Hernandez Angela “Cookie” Hernandez was born September 16th, 1963 in Tulare, CA to Gregorio and Rosa Hernandez. She was raised in Farmersville, CA along with her six siblings. On June 27th, 2021, Angela was welcomed into heaven to rest in paradise and be reunited with her father Gregorio Hernandez and her two brothers Greg Hernandez and Raymond Hernandez. She was a homemaker and a wife of 31 years to Johnny Anthony Hernandez of Farmersville. Angela attended and graduated from Exeter Union high school and graduated with a college degree in accounting. Angela Hernandez is survived by her loving husband Johnny Anthony Hernandez, whom she meant the world to, her three kids Serena Natasha Hernandez, Johnny Anthony Hernandez Junior, Shanyssa Nikole Hernandez and daughter-in-law Cassandra Elise Hernandez. Her five grandbabies that she loved more than anything in the world, Mahayla Rose Mathy, Malachi Anthony Hernandez, Saraia Rose Serna, Alaniyah Jade Hernandez, and Eztli Nikole Cortez. Angela is survived by her mother Rosa Hernandez and four siblings, Mary, Sylvia, Ramiro and Rosie. And many nieces, nephews and friends that she considered more as family than friends. Angela whom most knew as “Cookie” or “Cooks” for short since she would always introduce herself first as Cookie rather than Angela was a person that would go out of her way to lend a helping hand when needed and no questions would be asked. She loved her family very much, the daily things she loved the most were taking her grand-babies for multiple walks around the block, walking to the store to get snacks or chicken nuggets from Burger King because they were $1.49. She loved doing crafts at home with her grandbabies and making baskets of necessities for her eldest granddaughter Mahayla. She loved the days when it was time to take her mom uptown to run errands or just to go spend money at Walmart, the errands they ran should’ve taken about 2-3 hours but with them together would turn into 6 hours. If there was a family party or holiday event she was the one that everyone volunteered to make her amazing potato salad. She always looked forward to her grandbabies sports games and being their as their #1 fan. Angela had many adopted kids that were always welcomed into her home even when her children were not home. Angela welcomed everyone with open arms and made sure to let people know not to mess with her family. Anytime anyone walked into her home she would ask if they had eaten and offered them food that she had just got done cooking or warm up leftovers that she always had from cooking. She never let anyone feel like a stranger. As she was always known for ending a conversation with “Alright, I’ll be here.” Services will be at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel in Farmersville on Tuesday July 27th from 4-6pm. A celebration of life gathering will be held after the service.
