Aziza Ghobrial Said

Mama Aziza is our matriarch. She was the rock of the family that stood strong and firm in very trying times. She lead by example and taught values of compassion, generosity and an unfaltering conviction in God. She was widowed at 48 years old and yet overcame many obstacles to move to the United States where she knew life would be better for her children. She raised five sons and one daughter with incredible resolve and love. Her quiet strength belied her gentle yet intense need to take care of everyone around her. She was nurturing and kind and unwavering in her faith which she was imparted onto her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be profoundly missed. Her living legacy lies in the beautiful hearts of our grandchildren. They will know the courage, wisdom, and kindness and love that is Mama Aziza. Survived by her daughter Yvonne, sons Emil, Victor (deceased), Alber, Onsy and Safwat; daughters in law Gigi, Magda and Hoda Grandchildren Ashraf, Sherine, Sally, Nancy, Peter, Shary, Arsany, Bishoy, Mina, Miray and Mark Great Grandchildren Kaila, Matthew, Bodhi, Basil, Nocolas, Nathan, Christopher, Mary, Juliana, Emily, Chloe and Catherine Our family is grateful for your prayers and comforting words at this difficult time.
