Bernice Bartolucci

    Bernice Bartolucci, 86, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2018. Bernice was born and raised in Visalia CA, where she met and married John Greer. They moved to Santa Rosa CA where they raised their three children. Bernice then married Henry Bartolucci in 1982 and relocated to Lake County. In 2009, Henry and Bernice relocated to Manteca CA. Bernice led our family with her fiery, classy spirit, loving demeanor, avid talker and unwavering faith in God. Bernice was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Manteca, Visalia Sons of Italy, Red Hat Ladies of Manteca and Lake County and Manteca Italian Catholic Federation. Bernice loved to entertain and cook for all her family and friends. She was always gallivanting to an activity with her friends where she talked endlessly to all who were in attendance. Bernice always had a hug and a smile for anyone who was in her presence. Surviving are son Michael Greer and Teri Willow of Santa Rosa, daughter Cheryl and Tim Bass of Lemoore, two sisters, Amanda McGraw of Hillsboro OR, Shirley Swearingen of Visalia, stepson Ron and Sue Bartolucci of Kelseyville, son in law Del Gomez of Manteca, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands Henry Bartolucci and John Greer, son Jeffrey Greer, parents Domenic and Mary Laterza, sister Florence Bair, mother in law Lily Greer, step-daughter Judy Gomez. Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Manteca CA, August 10, 2018 at 11am, reception following at Del Webb Clubhouse. Rosary will be held at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel Visalia CA, August 13, 2018 at 10am, burial immediately following at Visalia Public Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sons of Italy, Kidney or Cancer Foundations. Arrangements by Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel of Visalia, CA
