Carolyn Sue Connolly

Carolyn Sue Connolly Devoted mother and caregiver Carolyn Sue Connolly, 79 died Sunday, September 4, 2022 at her home in Visalia, Ca. Carolyn was born May 10, 1943 in Springfield, IL. To Dale and Marjorie Parks. Carolyn married Tom Connolly on March 30, 1963. The two were each other’s lifelong companions and friends. They were blessed with two children: Jeffery and Kimberly. Carolyn was a homemaker when here children were young and then became a registered nurse. Carolyn graduated from the College of the Sequoias in March of 1981 with a degree in nursing. She worked for Kaweah Delta Hospital and Hillman Health Medical Center. She was an avid pianist and continued to learn and play her whole life. Carolyn was an animal lover and enjoyed and cared for many pets that she owned over the years. Carolyn is survived by her children, Kimberly (Brian) Jones and Jeffery Connolly. She has two grandchildren: Alyssa (Brian) Matta and Jarret Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Connolly. Carolyn especially will be remembered for her caring and nurturing spirit and her love for music. There will be a viewing September 24, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm with family present at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel to show last respects. A private burial will be held at Visalia Cemetery for immediate family.
