Charles F Darling

My sweet brother Charles F. Darling II, Chas, Charlie or as our mother used to call him Charlie Brown Fleming Darling has left us. I miss him so. We came from a large brood of 7 kids. A mixture of his/hers and their kids. We were raised as one big family not 3 fractured families. Kind, tender and gentle was his nature.  Forever, he will be in my heart. His smile, his laugh and sly humor a memory to be kept alive in my mind.  Our family is shrinking. Gone now from my life is Skip, Fi and now you. Johnnie sent me some recent pictures of my baby brother doing what he loved best. Fishing. A bad day fishing is always a better day then anything else. Charlie, I love you so much. I’m sorry I stopped searching for you. I never should have given up the search. Your spirit lives on in your nieces. Shannon’s daughter Harley is just the way you were when we were children. Cory’s daughter Genevieve has the same gentle nature and I know that Samantha’s children will have your traits too. I will love you forever Charlie brown.
