Fowler, Darlene Marie (nee Sousa) Dec. 18, 1950 - June 29, 2021 Darlene Marie Fowler, 70, of Visalia California, passed away at Kaweah Delta District Hospital on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Darlene was born on December 18 1950 , the eldest daughter of Manuel and Bernice Sousa in Merced, California, moving to Tulare soon after and attending Tulare elementary schools, graduated Tulare Union High School in 1969 where she made lifelong friendships with her classmates that remain to this day. Darlene was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend. Devoutly spiritual and attending Saint Ritas Catholic church in Tulare Ca. Working as a School Crossing Guard for the Wilson Elementary School in Tulare Ca. for many years, Darlene was a compassionate and selfless person, she enjoyed giving of herself and her service to family friends and neighbors. Throughout her life Darlene could be found visiting her neighbors and friends, providing an ear to talk to and comfort and help when needed. When not found singing Karaoke, calling Bingo numbers or reaching out to family and friends she could be found meeting and welcoming new residents to her building Town meadows where she lived for many years. Darlene felt blessed to be part of her Coffee Klutch club as well as volunteering as a floor monitor, checking in and insuring her neighbors wellbeing. Darlene is survived by her 4 children, Pauline Yarberry ( Tony Flynn ), Kenny Yarberry, Randy Beach (Matthew James) and Tammy Beach ( Manuel Camacho) , Two brothers Manuel (Sonny) Sousa (Debbie)of Emmett Idaho, James (Jimmy) Sousa (Gina) of Tulare, one sister Linda Sousa of Tulare , 7 Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Bernice Sousa and brother David Allen Sousa. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sat., July 17, 2021 at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel at 11:00am, 1700 W. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, CA 93277
