Debora Jean Trow

Our Mother, Sister, and Friend, Debora Jean (Costa) Trow, 58, of Hanford California passed away on January 5th 2023. Debbie was born on June 12th 1964 In San Jose California to the parents of Ethel Mae Costa (Tuner) (B.1937) and Tiago John Costa (B. 1940 - D. 2009) After Debbie graduated from Hilmar Highschool in 1982 she went on to study ADN Nursing at Modesto Junior College. She then continued on to earn her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and served as a registered nurse for over 30 years. In the year 1995 Debbie met her Domestic Partner Jerry Raber on a shared interest fan page for Star Trek and took their first date to Denny’s in Modesto California where they hit it off. From previous marriages Jerry had Nathan Daniel Lee and Kiri Kay Lee Raber whom Debbie thought of as her own. Kiri was her “baby girl” and Nathan was her “buddy boy”. Debbie and Jerry went on to have a son together Jacob Demar Raber in 1999. The final glue to the family. Debbie was a smart, spunky, sweet, accepting, and beautiful woman. She loved to spend time with her loved ones. Some of her favorite things to do included; watching Ghost Adventures, cruises, and concerts. Debbie is preceded in death by her Father Tiago John Costa (Jan. 2009) Survived by; Her mother Ethel Mae Costa (Turner), Domestic partner Jerry Raber, Her two sons Nathan Daniel Lee Raber and Jacob Lewis Demar Raber, Her daughter Kiri Kay Lee Raber. Siblings; Thomas & wife Bobbi Costa, and Paul Costa. Nieces and nephews Josh, Nathan, Justin, Adam, Garret, Timothy, Antoinette and Faith Costa. As well as her great neice Janella Hubble. Services will be held in Visalia California at Hadley Marcom Funeral Chapel with a visitation January 26th from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Funeral Services will be held 27th In the same location 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.
