Donald E. Allender

Graveside services will be held for Donald Eugene Allender, 73, at the Visalia Cemetery on January 13, 2021 at 10:30 am. Donald was born in Visalia, California to William Elza and Fern Deloris Allender (both deceased). Donnie grew up with two brothers, William Allender (deceased) and Richard Allender both of Visalia; in addition to three sisters, Beverly Minatta (deceased) of Visalia, Jean Dessel of San Jose and Mary Jane Kelch of Visalia. Donnie is survived by his wife, Kaye Allender of Whitsett, North Carolina; two sons, Michael Allender and Jason Allender both of Visalia; one step-daughter, Donna McIntyre of North Carolina; one granddaughter, Caitlyn Bellaire, of Visalia; one step-grandson Pageton McIntyre of North Carolina. Donnie was preceded in death by his son Brian Allender. Donald honorably served his country in the Army National Guard from 1966 – 1972 where he was certified as a marksman and sharp shooter. Donnie worked as a printing press operator at Moore Business Forms for many years, retiring in 2000 Friends may call from 4-6 pm on January 12, 2021 at the Hadley Funeral Chapel, Visalia.
