Donna M. Carmichael

June 23rd, 1942 to March 30th, 2022 Donna M. Carmichael passed away in the early hours of March 30th after a battle with cancer. Donna was born in Visalia, CA to her parents, Mary Logan Garner and Leroy Ralph Carmichael. She graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in 1960. She attended De Anza College, Everett Community College, and Seattle University. Donna began working as a Special Education Teacher for Tulare County Office of Education (1965-1967) and Agnew State Hospital (1972-1974). She spent a few years outside Tulare County working for various companies such as Siltech, Four-Phase Systems, and Ungermann Bass. She returned to work in Visalia some time in 1988. She spent the last years of her career working for CSET, the Tulare County AIDS Project, and ran a daycare out of her own home from about 1991 to 2002. In 2006, Donna moved out to Farmersville where she spent the last years of her life. Donna leaves behind her son, Garth Wells, and her two granddaughters, Christina Wells and Kathryn Wells.
