Elizabeth Sue Richardson passed away October 4, 2018 after a 4 year battle with Metastatic Colon Cancer.Elizabeth was born on January 28,1935 in Wichita, Kansas to Elmer Perry Clift and Susie Maude Clift. On January 4, 1953 she married her high school sweetheart, Eldon F. Richardson. They had five daughters; Alona Mae born in 1953, Ronda Kae born in 1954, Sharon Lee and Karon Sue born in 1956, and Stacy Lyn born in 1961. Elizabeth was a homemaker until Eldon passed in 1979. Elizabeth began working as a Dietary Aide at Kaweah Delta Hospital shortly after and then retired in 1998. Elizabeth attended Sierra Baptist Church in Visalia. She was a very passionate collector. Beanie Babies, state quarters, books, and Amish Buggy Calendars were among her most treasured items. She was her grandchildren's biggest cheerleader and will be sorely missed. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eldon, and daughter Ronda. She is survived by daughters Alona Green (Walter), Sharon Thompson (Jim), Karon Richardson, and Stacy Gruver (Wayne). She had 7 grandchildren; Denise Holguin (Rene), Erin Thompson, Jim Thompson (Courtney), Sean Befort, Stephanie Carrell (Matt), Scott Gruver (Diana), and Matt Gruver. She also had 9 great grandchildren; Marissa, Jake, Samuel, Kimberly, Nora, James, Michelle, Merry, and Ezekiel. She had another great granddaughter due in January who she was so excited to meet. Her celebration of life will be held at Sierra Baptist Church, 1437 E. Walnut Ave. Visalia, CA 93292, Monday, October 15 at 11:00am officiated by Pastor Mark Wilson.
