Emilia Medina De Ortiz

Emilia Medina De Ortiz passed away in Duarte, CA on October 31, 2018,at the age of 58. Emilia Medina de Ortiz was born in Zacualpan, Nayarit on April 5, 1960. She moved from Mexico to the United States in 1982 where she met Gerardo Ortiz. They united in 1983 and together they raised 6 children; Dalia, Francisco, Gerardo, Gerardo Antonio, Jose Maria and Joel.     Emilia enjoyed spending time with her family and her apple-head chihuahua, Coqueta. She loved all her grandchildren; Lendy, Leslie, Gerardo, Ariana, Galilea and Noelia and spent time engaging with them. Emilia found satisfaction in working and did so for the last 17 years.       Preceding Emilia in death her son Gerardo Ortiz, parents Martimiano Medina and Modesta Raygoza.       Emilia was always positive and had courage and strength that was admirable. She was loved by many including family and friends. She will be remembered and forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 4:00pm until 7:30pm at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel of Visalia.The Rosary will be prayed on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 6:00pm, at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel of Visalia.The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, November 16, 2018,at 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church of Visalia.Arrangements by Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel of Visalia
