John Alden Green, 97, of Visalia, passed away on October 4, 2018.
John was born in Victorville, California to Oscar and Mary Green on August 10, 1921. John grew up and attended school in Victorville, California.
John joined the Army in 1942 and went on to proudly serve in World War II. Following the Army John went on to become a Trucker.
John married Mary Davis in Lake Tahoe, in 1994, and they celebrated 24 years of marriage. A few years later they bought property and moved to Lindsay, CA, and finally settled in Visalia, CA.
John enjoyed fixing up old cars and belonged to a Car Club and to the Tulare Grange.
John was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Green, mother, Mary (Green) Glichweit, wife, Mary Davis Green, brother, Homer Green.
John is survived by his sons, Robert Green (Aletha) and Ray Green, two Stepsons, Lloyd Davis (Margaret) and Vernon Davis (Erika), 2 Granddaughters, and many great grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held at Visalia Public Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Services entrusted to Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel, Visalia.
