John Howard Parsons

John Howard Parsons was born April 12, 1951, and went to be with our Lord Jesus on September 2, 2022. John was born in Santa Ana, California to John F. and Ella June (Dolly) Parsons. John grew up in Tulare, California. After graduating, he joined the Air Force and served from 1970 – 1973. He met his wife, Julia, in 1970 and they were married in 1971. John was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed his bass boat. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing his famous chili beans. He also took first place prize one year at the Tulare County Fair for his sweet hot chili sauce. After his military service to our country, he moved his family to Tulare, California. He began his almost 50-year career in the agricultural industry, working as Service Manager for three different agricultural companies. His knowledge in this industry was so vast that his customers could call him day or night and he would help them over the phone. John is preceded in death by his father John F. Parsons, and brother Jerry L. Parsons. John is survived by Julia, his wife of 51 years, his son Jeremy, his mother Dolly Parsons, two sisters-in law, Cheryl Shade and Lisa Parsons MaGee, two brothers-in-law, Jim Tinnin and Bob Tinnin, his aunt Millie Watts, various cousins, and his beloved dog Cooper. John loved and was loved by many, many people. A Celebration of Life will be held at Tulare Church of the Nazarene, 1929 E. Bardsley Ave, Tulare, CA on October 25 at 1:00 pm.
