Nieves Papion

Nieves Papion passed away in Visalia, California on June 27, 2021, at the age of 82, he was reunited with his wife for 57 years, Nora Papion. Born September 24, 1938 in loving New Mexico to Nieves Sr and Manuela Papillion. As a very young man he selflessly and proudly worked to provide for his mother, brothers and sisters. At 16 years old he moved the family to California for a better life. Nearest served with pride for the United States Army. Above all he served his Lord and Savior as an ordained minister and home missionary in Las Vegas, New Mexico with the United Pentecostal church. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his son Nieves S Papion, daughter Dee Anna Papion, grandsons Andre Maestas and Aaron vigil, sister Cecelia Ruiz and brother Jimmy Ruiz. He will lovingly be remembered by his daughters Naomi Cline, Elena Maestas, son Catarino Papion (Delia), Grandchildren Nieves J Papion (Maria) Tim Papion, (Mary Lov), Anthony Papion, (Rachel), Lavonne Guerrero, (Felipe), Marisa cline, (Jessica), Justin Maestas, Marcus Maestas, (Estecia), Zacharia Maestas, (Stacy), Jordan Papion, (Korina), Chelsea Marshall, (Andy), Joshua and Jazmin Papion. Brothers; Sammy Papion, Ruben Papion, (Shane), Joe Ruiz, Leonard Delarosa Sisters; Adela Mendez, (Bernardino), Alice Garcia, Lovisa Hernandez, (Joe), Nancy Barker, (Rick), Melda Cervantez, (Joe), Diana Ruiz and Maria Elena Dela Rosa, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. With much love and appreciation to be given to his companion and caregiver Lourdes Fejeron. Visitation will be held at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel of Visalia on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 12:00pm at the Visalia Public Cemetery.
