Robert "Bob" Steven Miller

Robert “Bob” Miller was born on October 23rd 1953 in Watsonville, California. He passed away September 3rd 2023 at the Fresno Veterans Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 48 years and two children Robert Jr and Dawn. He also had 4 grandchildren Elijah, Donna, Emma and Emrie. Bob had a deep love for the outdoors. He was a regular at Sauvies Island outside of Portland Oregon for more than three decades. Many ducks and geese met their demise and many more were spared. Bob was very good at identifying birds and amazing at calling them in. If he wasn’t hunting he was fishing. He would frequent the Columbia and Willamette Rivers, mostly fishing for Sturgeon. While he had many stories of the one that got away he did manage to land one that was over 10 ft. Bob remained a kid at heart and enjoyed life the way he wanted, to its fullest.
