Sue Dreo

Wendell “Sue” Dreo of Visalia, Ca went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday November 14th, 2021. She was born in Maumelle Arkansas on September 15, 1940 to Ira and Frona Malson. She is predeceased by her brothers Charles Whitson and Bob Whitson. Sue and her family moved to California in 1948 and settled in Visalia where she attended school and graduated from Redwood High School. In 1960 she married the love of her life Jimmy “Corky” Dreo, and they were married for 20 years. On July 13th, 1961 she gave birth to her pride and joy, her only child, Ricky Dreo. She would spend the rest of her life devoted to Rick and his family. She worked for the Visalia Medical Clinic as a Data Processing Supervisor for 35 years before retiring. A few years later she took a position with Casa Grande Senior Living assisting families with compassion and love until she retired in February of 2021. Sue is survived by her son Rick and his wife Patricia of Camano Island, Wa. A step daughter, Pamela Dreo of Ivanhoe, Ca. Four grandchildren, Jason Dreo (Tawnya) Visalia, Ca Matthew Dreo, Santee, Ca Natalie Russell (Dustin) Camano Island, Wa Markie Parks, Lakeside, Mt 5 great grandchildren: Danika, Levi, Zoey, Scarlett and Delilah. The family would like to acknowledge Sues neighbors, the Cervantes Family for their love and kindness in watching over our Mother. You are appreciated. Sue will be remembered by all that knew her for her kind and gentle soul. For her forgiving heart and willingness to help others selflessly. Her memorial service will be held at the Hadley Marcom chapel, 1700 W Caldwell Ave, Visalia Ca At 10:00am, Friday December 10th. She will be laid to rest with her parents at the Exeter Cemetery in a private family service.
