Susan M. Grist

  Susan Marie (Meyer) Grist, 62, of Woodlake CA passed away June 15, 2018, after a long battle with Dementia. She was born in Visalia CA on May 16, 1956 to Allen and Marlene Meyer. She grew up in the Visalia area and graduated from Redwood High School in 1974. In 1978 she married her true love Bruce Grist and they made their home in Visalia until 1984 when they moved to Elderwood, where she remained until her death. Susan was a bookkeeper and tax preparer for over 20 years.Susan was preceded in death by her brother Kenny Meyer, her parents Allen and Marlene Meyer, and her grandmother Julia Meyer. Surviving are her husband of 40 years Bruce Grist, her sister and her husband Diane and Dan Usher, and her nephews Nathan Martin and Grant Martin, and many more loved nieces and nephews.Services will be held at the Woodlake Cemetery by Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel in Visalia, on Thursday, June 28 at 10:00 am.
