Tirrell Johnson, Sr. died peacefully in Bakersfield, CA on Friday June 29, 2018 at the age of 43. Tirrell is survived his mother, Juanita Johnson of Tulare, CA; children, Djenne Johnson, Tirrell Johnson, Jr., Jaysun Johnson and Xavier Johnson of Tulare, CA; siblings, Jason Johnson of Visalia, CA, Clorinda Johnson of West Sacramento, CA, Regina, Angie, Augusta, Antoinette Vanessa, Thurman, Quincy, Aaron, William, Leviticus and Willie. He will also be mourned by a  host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunties, Uncles and Cousins.  He is preceded in death by his father, William Johnson of Fresno, CA, his sister Joy Johnson of Visalia, CA, his maternal grandparents Sammie and Velma Russell of Visalia, CA and paternal grandparents Otis and Mary Johnson of Richmond, CA. Tirrell was born on August 6, 1974 in Visalia, CA to William and Juanita Johnson. He graduated from Redwood High School in 1992. He fathered four children with his former wife Maria Torres. His children will remember him as a caring father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Tirrell will be remembered for his infectious smile and how deeply he cared for his children. He loved to fish and tinker on any gadget he could get his hands on.  In life, Tirrell was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle and cousin.  We will all miss him dearly.Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10:00AM until 11:00am at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel of Visalia. A funeral is scheduled for 11 am on Friday July 6, 2018 at Hadley Marcom Funeral Chapel (1700 W. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, CA 93277), with a reception to follow at PPAV Hall ( 820 E. Main St., Visalia, CA 93292). Pastor Susan Henard of River Valley Church in Tulare, CA will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tirrell’s life.Arrangements by Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel of Visalia
