Vallerie Vanell Ruiz, 63, of Visalia, CA passed away, April 10th, 2023, at Kaweah Health Medical Center surrounded by her children. Vallerie Vanell Ruiz also known to others as (Val) was born to Thomas E. Craig and Wanda Craig October 22nd, 1959, in Snowflake, Arizona. She is survived by her three children LaTressa Arzola, Christina Arzola, Anthony Craig Papion, her thirteen grandchildren, her Father Thomas E. Craig, Brother Richard Craig, and Sister Rhonda Zens, Sister Hope Craig along with a host of nieces and nephews. Vallerie attended College of the Sequoias majoring in Criminology. Vallerie loved camping and fishing and was an avid crafter. She loved getting her nails done with her late sister LaDawn Craig. The entirety of our mother's world was God and her family. Vallerie was baptized in 1989 and attended Mt. Zion Apostolic Church for many years. She was a woman of great faith and instilled in our family the importance of having God in our lives. Our mother faced every challenging hardship with hope and an unwavering faith and unmatched strength. She looked forward to every Easter and Fourth of July, which she never failed to turn to one of us and whisper that this was her favorite holiday. She was a woman that enjoyed the little things in life such as her quiet cups of coffee in the mornings with cozy jammies and. She took great joy in hugs from her precious loved ones. Our mother’s beautiful light will be missed greatly. She is proceeded in death by her late husband Ronnie Sparks, Granddaughter Aisley Makenzie Arzola, Sister LaDawn Craig, Brother Tom Craig, and Mother Wanda Craig. Services will be held at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Home on April 21st, 2023, in Visalia, CA.
