Wilma Jean Philley

Wilma Jean Philley, 88, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Visalia, CA. She was a full charge bookkeeper for over 16 years at Fresno County Convention and Visitors Bureau. She enjoyed working and being around people. She created a monthly newsletter called the flutter bug which always had something for everyone (recipes, helpful tips, jokes, fun facts for each month or holiday and much more). She mailed and e-mailed them to family, friends, and even people she met in stores or wherever she went she never met a stranger. Surviving are her daughter Lori (Don) Looney in Visalia, CA, son, Myron Philley (Teri) in Laton, CA, 4 grandchildren Jennifer Eversull (Justin) of Tulare, CA, Melissa Saffon (Maxime) of Hilliard Ohio, Casie Kent (Cody) in CA, Walter Philley in CA, 7 great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Cash, Emeric, Jordan, Nolan, Luca, and Julianna. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Washington Colony Cemetery 7318 S Elm Avenue, (Easton) Fresno, CA. Immediately following will be her Celebration of Life.
